These were originally NOS orange spiders, before I sent them off to be stripped of paint and polished.  Unfortunately the guy doing the work dropped them in a vat of acid to remove the paint.  In an effort to cover up the marks from the acid, or perhaps just through incompetence, he then badly over-polished the spiders which has removed some of the detail and definition.
